When you live with your in-laws, you learn things about your own marriage. Like why your husband’s argument style is what it is, where he learned how to cook, etc. One thing we’re learning is that we sleep better in separate beds. (Our in-laws don’t have an issue with us sleeping together, but hello? Two bigass folks + one full-size bed? You do that math, kids.)
We’re even discussing maybe buying a second bed for me when we get our own digs. Does this mean we’re freaks? Is our marriage on the rocks? Should I be worried? (Keep in mind that I’m a thrasher. I toss and turn nearly all night. Bill is a bedkicker. We both snore, God help us.)
What do y’all think? I’m seriously asking here. Is wanting separate beds a sign that we’re in trouble?
Steph is participating in x365 and thinks you should, too.
