Alright, kids.
Last night, I was thinking about the BlogHer ads. Specifically, I was thinking about the links to other blogs they put at the bottom and how I appear there sometimes. I was thinking about how someone just stumbling across this sucker would wonder WTF was going on because I do that when I’m “new” to a blog. Or maybe I’m the only one who’s too lazy to go wading through the archives before diving on in and commenting? I dunno.
So, I was thinking I should maybe write an introductory post, like “Essential Facts about Me.” Then I realized that’s what my “About” page is for, duh. But then I was thinking it would be fun to have y’all write an “Essential Facts about Steph” post. So. Pick one thing you would make sure a newbie would know about me. Or not. It’s up to you.
Oh, and go do this same thing on your own blog, wouldja? I’d love to read (and write) those answers, too.

Steph has one of the best senses of humor EVER, (sense of humors?) Proven by the fact that while she can laugh at everyone else, she also laugh at herself. Out loud. For several minutes. (I find it hard to stop at one, I might add. And I’ve only been a Stephfanatic for what…a month?)
For the newbies. Okay. One thing I would say to them is that if you don’t want to hear the truth, then they don’t belong here. Steph will tell you straight up how shit is. She’s extremely honest. Not only about herself, but what she sees and experiences in life. So beware–you’re getting a truthful person here who will tell you what she thinks of not only herself, but you as well. And 99.9999999999….fuck it– 100% of the time, she’s right.
Now this is only a warning if your are a doucher, asshat, phony, liar, pea-brained, judgmental loser. Otherwise, Steph’s pretty much cool with everyone and she will send you much love and give you many LULZ.
uumm, i’ll say that i love steph because she is so fucking cool. and, by “cool”, i mean that she is fucking hilarious. she won’t judge you. not because of your religious beliefs, race, weight, foul mouth, or even if you are judgmental yourself*ahem*. and, when you amuse her, she will let you know with reckless abandon.

All y’all - I swear to y’all, I wasn’t fishing for compliments. Not that I’m complaining here, mind you. I’m thrilled all the way to my little toesies. But I have to admit, I was way expecting, “She’s a hardcore beeyotch, yo.” :grin:
Maniacally funny, intensely intelligent, exceedingly thoughtful.
She’s the comfort food of bloggers. And *sometimes* the burp that follows. But a good burp…the kind that releases all your pent-up gas.

Okay because Stephteph and I go way back I’d have to say the following:
She is fiercely loyal, insanely funny and best of all thought provoking. I can’t remember one post where I was ever wishing I hadn’t started reading. While being devilishly fierce (and not in a Tyra way although she’s that too) on some topics she can be profoundly sentimental and gushy on others.
Basically she’s the bon-bon of the blogsphere. A tough shell on the outside but if you get thru there you get a squishy center and I’m not talking about her 86′d cooper.
Also dude you’re my IDK BFF. If you really wanted me to say what I thought or how much I love your face there wouldn’t be enough space in the whole of the interwebs. XOXO.

First, I want to second Missy’s description of the hard outer shell and smooshy inside. Well put.
Also, just when you think that Steph can’t *get any smarter, she totally knows more than you think. When I’m not expecting a totally awesome abstract reference to something, there it is. When you need a psych eval, call Steph, she knows EVERYTHING! Seriously. Steph, you are the smartest smart that ever smarted. :D
