I got the music in me, kids. But I do not have it on my iPod. Okay. That’s not true. I have 3600+ songs on my iPod (most of them were even legally obtained!), but like all addicts, I need more. What are some of your favorite songs?

I don’t know why, but I’ve been maudlin lately and as such, have listened to Jackson Browne’s “For A Dancer” over and over and over again for the past 3 days.

It’s about death.

What’s wrong with me?

Anyway, I also love the Weepies’ “The World Spins Madly On,” and anything by the Indigo Girls, but especially “Land of Canaan,” and “Fill It Up Again,” and “Leaving,” and “Watershed.” And “Girl With the Weight of the World on Her Hands.”

Also, major into Stereophonics, and love “Dakato,” and “Maybe Tomorrow.”

I’ll leave now.

Debbie - Don’t go yet! I’m happy to have found someone who’s even *heard “Land of Canaan”, much less *loves it. God, that whole album (and back when I first had it, it was an actual vinyl album) has been in my ongoing playlist forever. I think the CD was one of the very first ones I uploaded.

ANYway, I’m off to download your recommendations now. So, thanks! :)

Have you seen the IGs in concert? So the best ever.

Anyway…Dakato (in my original comment) is really Dakota…but you probably figured that out.

BUT, if you find a Dakato on iTunes, let me know. I’ll have to download it just because…!

p.s. Have you heard of Kasey Chambers? Her “The Captain” CD is one of my absolute favorites.

Debbie - LLOL. I figured it out when my search on Dakato was yielding zip. :grin:

I saw the IGs in concert once, and I loved it. Mostly, I loved the feeling I got from the *crowd, though. It was very, very cool.

And no — I hadn’t heard of Kasey Chambers. I see I have more downloading to do. Which is totally cool. :)
