How do you feel about your birthday? Do you look forward to it and remind all your friends, or do you dread it and try to keep it a secret?

I don’t look forward to it. Not because of not wanting to age or anything. Mostly it has to do
with the way my birthday was treated as a kid.
That and everyone has such high expectations for their birthday, and really, most of the time
it ends up being like any other day.
I’m more excited over my friends’ birthdays than mine.

d - I love birthdays. Mine, friends’, the kids’…I love ‘em all. But I treat my birthday the way most people treat New Year’s — that’s when I sit and reflect about my life.
