Since Lou aka Bulimicat has had her fair share of posts, I figured I’d write a post about KitCat. (Look, it’s slow around here lately, okay?) KitCat is our huntress and our Houdini. She finds ways to escape the house so she can go catch food for the family. She does her part to earn her keep around here, unlike most of the other critters who live with us. Periodically, we step out on the front porch to find…well, all sorts of things. We’ve found mice and moles, birds and bugs. KitCat is indiscriminate in her kills.

Now this might make you think that she’s semi-feral, and she’s not. She’s actually the more affectionate of the two cats (presuming, of course, you don’t have a blankie for Lou to suck, that changes everything). She comes in the office to keep me company more often than not, and she’s the first one to follow me to the bathroom for what I can only assume is the cat version of quality time. She lets the children haul her around the house, and she’s started idling up to Tricia to let the baby pet her, even though the ball of cute that is Tricia is not always gentle with the critters who reside here (including the human ones).

In short, KitCat is another amazing animal we’ve been given the privilege of tending, and for that, I am grateful. Now head over to The Stephford Photos and take a gander at the wonder of me actually getting a decent photo of this cat, wouldja?
