Dr. Phil Dedicating Show to Britney - Britney Spears, Phil McGraw : People.com
In December, after the announcement of 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears’s pregnancy, he told PEOPLE that “an asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother,” Lynne Spears.
Wait…what? How in the hell is this woman a “great mother”? GMAFB already. If this were an “average” woman raising two daughters who had done the same things the Spears girls are doing, Dr. Phil would ream her ass up, down and sideways about her parenting skills. So why is he giving Lynne Spears a pass? Clearly, this woman isn’t raising children with solid moral compasses to guide them through life in the super-fast lane. Great mother, my ass.

Oh now…come on. She’s a great white trash mom. It’s what ever what trash mom aspires to be!!
I wonder how much Dr. Phil is getting paid to give props to the Spears family. What a doucher. But then again, I’ve never liked Dr. Filth or Oprah

Because he’s a hoser. He’s just another slave to the system because you’re right. If this had been your kids he’d be reaming you a new one and telling you how badly you’d let them down. I’ve always hated Dr. Phil because he’s always so quick to pass judgment before hearing any background.

d & Missy - The more I read about all of it, the more disgusted I am with the whole thing. He’s doing what every other mofo in Britney’s life is doing — working her crazy for his own benefit.
I’ll say it — I feel sorry for the girl. I think she’s got some serious mental health issues, and no one is bothering to help her ass. Everyone’s looking for the angle. That’s gross.

He’s giving her a pass, I presume, because he’s a long time family friend. Not saying that it’s right but I think that explains it.

I’ll timidly stand here and say I like Dr. Phil. Yes, I do think he’s become a whore of whatever sort, but I do think he does have resources at his disposal to get someone help. It’s not as if Britney Spears is a virgin to a media circus, so if he stirs up the one that finally gives her the help she obviously needs, who cares what he gets out of it, good or bad?
