…you did not slip a sable under the tree for me. But it’s okay. I’m not into fur. The fact that you did leave a Wii for Miss Lenna made up for any lack of gifts for me. And the XBox 360 game you left for Matt? Perfect. Tricia is a little uncertain about her gifts — the weird caterpillar rattle thing skeeves her a little, I think, but she really digs that Counting Lily thing you left. Good job. I’m still not sure how gifts that took us weeks to find, buy and wrap were opened in under ten minutes, but I guess that’s the magic of Christmas in action.
Now, Santa, I know we have this little talk every year after Christmas, but this year I really mean it — we have to cut down a little. I mean, Matt doesn’t need another game console or 6749387 more games for his existing consoles. Lenna doesn’t need more toys with which to make a mess in her room. Tricia has plenty of rattles and counting toys and ABC toys. She’s covered. So maybe next year, we can stick with simple? Maybe? Please?
Aside from that, though, I have to tell you — Wii Boxing? Best. Game. Ever.
