#10 Purchase fruits and veggies from a homegrown farmstand – Completed!

by Missy on September 24, 2007

So This weekend I completed another thing from my 101 things to do in 1001 days list. #10 Purchase fruits and veggies from a homegrown farm-stand. This was an easy tee up for me I guess. There is one of those cute little farm-stands I’ve been meaning to go to since I got here but just haven’t had a reason to. This is it:

I ended up picking up some of the freshest looking tomatoes and a pomegranate. Now the pomegranate is obviously not homegrown but they aren’t out at the supermarkets here (I don’t know if they’ll ever be) and I’ve been craving one since last year. The Burt’s Bee’s Pomegranate lip balm has been holding me over but, obviously, its not near the real stuff. So yay, another thing down! Whoot!
