I don’t know WTF is going on with the universe right now, but I’ve had sign after sign after sign about getting serious about losing weight…and other things I want to do.
First, I read this on OMSH’s website. At first, I was kind of pissed off at her for her self-loathing which has extended itself to loathing all obese people. Then I stopped and actually thought about what she was saying, and it’s true. Even though gaining the weight wasn’t technically my fault, not taking it off sure as hell is my fault. And she’s right — it’s selfishness and laziness.
Then, I read Missy’s post about 101 in 1001. (Go here for more information about this.) I think this would be perfect for me. There are a gajillion things I want to do, but since I don’t bother to ever write them down or hold myself accountable for not doing them, they don’t get done.
So. Today, I’m going to make my list. I’m also going to start the weight loss vlog I’ve been promising for so long. (YIKES!) Stay tuned for both. And please, be gentle about how much I weigh. I know I’m a fatass. I promise I do.
