First, about that kickass DMB tune now running through your brains? You. Are. Welcome.
Second, I don’t even know where to start. This is going to be so dadgum random, and I’d be sorry about that, except I’m not.
You know how there are all these “Home is…” sayings? Like “Home is where your heart is” or “Home is the place where, when you go there, they have to take you in” or whatever? I have one of my own. “Home is where Mozilla Firefox remembers your username and passwords when you visit websites.” Sage, ain’t I?
I do love being home. Mostly, I love having my stuff. I also love having a happy baby a lot. Miss Tricia has decided that long car rides are not her cuppa, thank you very much, and she made that quite clear today. If I willingly spend more than an hour with her in a car, call the mental ward — I have clearly gone insane.
On a happier note, I met D and A in real life today. They were exactly like I expected, which is to say super-great and fantabulous. Oh, and D? STILL hating on that fresh and fly camera. Also? Hating on that fresh and fly backyard. And the fresh and fly floors.
However, I am NOT hating on Miss L. She’s a beautiful little pixie, and I love her and want to steal her and her tiny little self with her tiny little voice away to live with me. But I won’t because my not-so-tiny little rats would soon have her as wild as they are, and that would just spoil the magic that is Miss L the Pixie Girl. Seriously, kids, I have never, ever used the term “pixie” to describe…anyone. It has just never come into my mind even, but if you could meet L, you’d use it, too. She’s just…a pixie. (And I mean that in the best way possible.)
Matt has a crush on A’s girly girl. That’s all we need — Matt and T hooking up. The world would never, ever survive that union, much less any offspring it might produce. But they’d be some beautiful kids.
I didn’t get to see much of A’s mancubs, but Matt had nothing but praise for them, too, so I’m assuming they’re okay. They seemed like nice little rats from the little I did see of them.
Meeting D & A (and their husbands who don’t think Bill is whipped or too nice or any of that rot because M & J are both just as great) made the craziness of the drive home totally worthwhile. The only part that sucked was that we couldn’t stay nearly as long as I wanted to since Bill has to work tomorrow. O Powerball Fairy, why, oh why, can you not visit my house already?!
Abrupt subject change (again), so my baby sister whom I adore introduced me to Brotherhood 2.0 aka The Vlog Brothers. These guys kill me. I love them. I am also jacking their idea and doing the same thing with Sarah. Stay tuned, kids, if we don’t say anything all that funny, you’ll still be able to laugh at us being lamers. Hee.
I think that’s enough updating for now. Since I’ve gone all “family-friendly,” I can’t really share about what Bill and I did after we got home and got everyone else to bed, so there’s just nothing left to say. And I’m kind of sorry about the randomness of this post, but I think you’ll all forgive me since I’ve been gone so long. Right? RIGHT?!?
