See, I knew asking you guys was the way to go. Holy Hannah — y’all are some creative mofos! Here are the entries so far:
1. How about a “what is it?” contest…you take a closeup of, say, the detachable mixer thingies on your mixer. Or a blender blade. Or the trunk release inside the trunk of your car. You get the idea.
2. Strip the label off a can and make people guess the contents.
3. Photograph all three kids in black and white, then make people guess the 3 shirt colors.
4. Nominate someone for the prize, and give your reason why they are deserving of it.
5. The best verbal comeback you thought about the next damn day and so never got to use.
6. Put in pics of Tricia and then let us see if we can guess what she’s thinking… or the best caption for the picture.
7. Steph’s Blog Subtitle Contest. like Mommay’s Blog: _______________.
8. Hot new icon since that somebody asked if you were your dog.
9. You could always go copy cat and do a “Name that photo”…
10. “Give That Story a Headline” — You post a story (funny ones would probably work best) and encourage people to come up with a witty and/or catchy headline for it as if it were going to be put in a newspaper.
Man, am I glad Bill is doing the judging because I sure couldn’t pick at this point. Speaking of judging, here’s how it’ll work, at least for this contest — whatever is submitted will be copied and pasted into a Notepad file which Bill will then read once the contest is over. No names will be attached. (Hence why I didn’t credit y’all in this post.) That way the judging is totally fair and impartial.
And no, Bill, you don’t get to enter no matter how much you say you’d be really fair.
