So, you guys know that I’ve read Ree’s Blog more than once or twice. I was a regular reader there for a while even. Then I stopped because Ree’s life is entirely too perfect for me. The woman gets up at five am (FIVE AM!!!) to homeschool her four kids…this alone is enough to make me curl up in the fetal position and rock the scary thoughts away. But in addition to that, she cooks and cleans and takes pictures and writes funny posts…she’s Superwoman.
It’s just too much pressure for me — I call it a good day when I keep all the kids alive and comb my hair. So I can’t relate to Ree’s life in any meaningful way. (I mean, Marlboro Man is always a good guy. He never has moments of utter stupidity, unlike some husbands I could mention. But I am definitely digressing here.)
I freely admit, though, that Ree inspired me to step up my blogging game just a notch or two. So, in the spirit of my confessing to be an idea-thieving wench, I thought maybe I’d come up with a running contest of my own, a la Ree’s Give That Photo a Name contests.
Now, that’s where my think-making stopped. So, what do y’all think would make for a fun contest?
