USATODAY.com - DNA tests foster changes in paternity laws:

Other laws give presumed fathers a period after a child’s birth, usually two years, to seek tests that can disprove paternity. Washington state, Delaware, Wyoming, North Dakota and Utah have such laws, which child advocacy groups such as CLASP support.

First, I have to say that it’s absolutely shitty and awful to tell a man he’s your kid’s father when he’s not. That’s absolutely reprehensible. Ok. With that out of the way…

Since these women are *already doing it, let’s address the consequences for the people involved. I totally agree with the above — give them a certain period of time to prove/disprove paternity. If they fail to avail themselves of that opportunity, then tough shit to ‘em later. Except a part of me thinks how unfair it is to *everyone. To the guy. To the kid. The only person who gets a break here is the adulterous woman. But that’s assuming Dad isn’t really the father. If he *is, then he’s just effed up his relationship with his kid.

So what’s the solution? I have no idea. :/
