Bush Troubled by Afghan Christian Facing Death:
“It is deeply troubling that a country we helped liberate would hold a person to account, because they chose a particular religion over another.”
While I agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment, I don’t know that I really buy it from Dubya. I have to wonder how much attention this case would’ve gotten from our administration had it been a Christian who converted to Islam or Judaism or Hinduism or any other -ism. And what’s really sad is that I’m even *questioning this adminstration’s response. :/
